Morogoro is a city in southwest Tanzania, 196 Kilometer south of Dar-es-Salaam, the biggest city in the country (half a million people).
Morogoro is the capital of the Morogoro region, located at the base of the Ologoro mountains, which serves as a center of vegetable production for the country.
In 2019 we started a pilot project by testing quality vegetable varieties, in collaboration with Sokoine Univesity of agriculture.
